A pet sleeps while your child is timed. When it wakes up it asks one gentle question: ready to do what your parents asked? Yes earns a sticker. Timing activities is hard when you are five. KidTimr turns the wait into something a child can watch. Your child picks a pet — Ella the cat or Nini the dog — and you choose how long the time should be. The pet curls up and sleeps while the time runs down, so "five more minutes" stops being an argument and becomes something to look at. When the time is up the pet wakes and asks one question: are you ready to do what your parents asked? Tap Yes and the pet is delighted, and your child earns a sticker for the album. Tap No and nothing bad happens — the pet takes it kindly, and you can start again whenever you like.
