I am a native English speaker but became a Christian overseas in a church where they spoke a different language. I have had to use bilingual bibles for many years. As someone who grew up bilingual, I just can’t get better at one language and learn the word of God in one language. Being fluent in both English and Spanish, I have the beautiful advantage of learning and growing in faith through both languages.
