My dad’s 80 years old, needs in-home care, and I have to help him manage a lot of medical information. It’s been a learning experience and sometimes a struggle for me since he’s very forgetful. I used to keep health data in a shared Google doc file. But that got long really fast and it’s hard to keep things organized. This app not only helps keep everything compartmentalized and easy to search. The ability to share specific info such as allergies and conditions with the caregiver is amazingly helpful. Highly recommended!

KinKeeper has graduated to the coveted first screen on my phone. As someone with a bajillion apps, I am very discriminating about what apps get that front screen status. This one fits the criteria. I love the flexibility of being able to track and coordinate the health of several people and even my pets. I decided to start by adding info as I need it rather than going back and filling in history info. This made the task less daunting. The fact that the app is so versatile is very appealing. I’ve heard that some people even use it to keep track of watering their plants!I’d like to gift a subscription to my Mom who is raising my niece and nephew. I think this would be a lifesaver for her so I hope the app developer adds that ability soon.

I have used this app for many things. Keeping pictures of X-rays of my son, keeping immunizations close to hand for those sports physicals and post op notes from his wisdom teeth. I used this with my daughter when she was at college so she had acess to health records and immunizations on the fly.

With an aging mom with multiple appointments, this app has taken some of the stress and confusion away from sharing information. With three other siblings sharing appointments, it’s great to have all of my mom’s information/results in one place. I highly recommend.
