Thanks for your review @jfdnet - Appreciate the desire to have iCloud sync, and realise a lot of users will want this. However, this would be at odds with providing client-side data privacy and ability to have difference scratchpad contents across devices.

Not a text editor

Does not even open or write plain text files.

Hi J-roow - sorry you were dissappointed with the app. It is not designed to edit plain text files, rather it is designed to be a scratch pad. I could add an "import text from file" if you thought that would be useful, but it's not really designed to edit files.

Exactly what I needed

For a long time I have been searching for the simplest of apps: a text editor with absolutely no features that just allows me to keep temporary notes. Something that would be easily accesible and not take up too much screen space.

Klipped is perfect for this! Especially impressive is the split screen mode when working with full-screen apps. As a developer, this tool is really useful. Really happy with it. Well done Andrew!
