D&D if it goes off the rails but in a good and funny way
This feels like a D&D game but you can choose what you want and choose what to focus on and with a five party group. You can choose what to select but some of the classes you find and makes the game more interesting. Yet the twist of the one who is across from the table aka the DM being the final boss was such a twist and well….. there’s one side quest that made me question about what just happened. If you know you know. Even so, GO CRAZY! But now we’re waiting for Knights of Pen and Paper 3 to arrive to mobile soon. Until then. Prepare for that.
Shameful Greed
I have this exact version on PC. I’ve soaked tons of hours into it and loved it. But the developers or marketing are being complete $@&”bags when it comes to the purchases. Also guess what folks, it’s a metric ton harder than the PC version, why you ask? Well they can sell heals for cold hard cash. I can just hear this being said in some marketing meeting. I understand you want to make a buck, but this is just disgusting. I guess it’s our (customers) own fault for trying to support games by making purchases. It was only a matter of time before it got straight up ignorant. I know the devs and team could care less about one customer, but personally I’m not spending a dime on this dev or publisher going forward and this will make a nice water cooler convo on the absolute greed games have come too. Of course I’m not in the gaming sector, just your standard software development arena. But word of mouth can be a heck of a thing these days and I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing this. Also I know your lastest offering is sitting in the mostly negative rating on Steam. Might be something to think about, this mobile app move and your latest offering, might be time to consider who you have driving the ship as they are doing an epically lousy job… Good luck devs!
Pay 2 win ruined this game
Recently I managed to download an older release of the game before they added the gems feature, and let me tell you, it is wonders better. In the older version you recieve about 2X the amount of gold and xp, and just about everything is 75% cheaper. They ruined the balance of this game to get players to purchase gold and gems but even those prices are way over the top. In the old version all the DLC could be bought with gold and it was just so much better. I love this game, it is really amazing but do not play on this version; go lookup how to download the older version of the game.
This current version makes it so you almost can’t enjoy most of the things like buying shop items, crafting, or playing longer than 1 squad wipe because they knocked gold balance so far off. 1/5 stars for a great game that was ruined. Unplayable.
