KODAK Photo Printer 4+

Horrible app

This app has always been horrible- makes me barely use the printer because of it. Tried to print some pics for the first time in a few months and some update has made it so i can’t add any pics- can’t even see the app in my settings to allow access to my photo library (but i can see where it requests access to my camera). So dumb!

** After deleting and redownloading the app per Reddit (and apparently this very delayed developer response i got) AND allowing access to my entire library it did work.. briefly. After scrolling too fast on my library, the pictures stopped loading. When I exited the app and came back in, had the same original problem. Only fix was to… delete and redownload again and scroll VERY SLOWLY.

What kind of app only works (barely) ONCE after the download???? Come on guys, if it ain’t broke don’t ‘fix’ it.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused when using the product. Please delete the installed app, download it - Kodak Photo printer again, allow all pop-up windows when installing, and please check it again. Some phones has the problem after the automatic updating. We are solving the problem. Thank you

Disappointed

I just purchased the white Kodak mini 2 retro printer and tried the app to print some photos. I’m disappointed in the extreme lack of creative options for editing your photos within the app prior to printing them. Other apps are much better, offering so much more. I would especially like to see an option for adding the traditional Polaroid style border. I can somewhat achieve it by resizing the photo with two fingers, but it is difficult to do and never looks like equal width on the left and right sides. I’d also like to see the developers add stickers and emojis into the editing menu. More frames to choose from would be nice as well. The photo quality is good, but this is for the review of the iOS app, not the actual printer. I hope the developers will improve the app by adding some of these features because the app could be so much better. As for my experience, I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max and have not had any trouble connecting to the printer via Bluetooth. It does not lose its connection. Good printer but not the best app, which is disappointing.

what happened??

before there was a bunch of frames I was able to pick from, They were cute too, but now there’s barely any, and I wouldn’t choose any of them not very well. I thought you would add more frames not take away everything you had before and then replace it with less than half of what you had before and it not even be the same quality. The picture quality is better now, but I used to really like the features to make the photo more unique instead it’s just a regular Polaroid print out now. disappointed..
