Learning how to read Korean letters made easy.

ZERO EXPLANATIONS TO READ. Start learning immediately. The app is designed not to have any instructions in any language, yet you will learn how to read Korean letters as you follow through 19 chapters. It shows you (not tells you) the underlying logic and also helps you memorize them for good.

Many picture pages - See and try to guess how Korean letters can be used to write the sound of what you know in other languages. It is really fun. These words are also used by Koreans in South Korea as-is, so you get to learn 70+ words for free.

Test yourself when you go to a Korean restaurant and face the menu. Test yourself with your favorite Korean song lyrics. You will be surprised that you can actually read them now!

Try Korean Letters Lite for free to see how it works. It contains the first five chapters.

Troubleshooting: when you press Korean letters, it should make a sound along with the visual effect. If you don't hear it, make sure your mute switch is not on. Also try earphone - just to know it makes sound.

Mirror mirror in my hand ,

practical, simple, and elegant. bravo.

This creators of this app really tried to understand where and how a beginner (like me) may become confused while learning Hangul and creativity addressed it. There is a purposeful sequencing of the characters using gentle repetition to keep the learner on their toes. This was especially helpful for me to distinguish between characters that mirror each other in appearance.
The minimalist look and feel of this app makes it a pleasure to learn with. There is no unnecessary narration or content to wade through. This makes it easy to go back and review precisely what you want.
After struggling with flash cards, you tube videos, and a couple other apps, this is the one that made me feel like I am getting a handle on it.
Highly recommend.

Outstanding

I recently moved to Korea and I’ve been using Korean Letters to help me learn Hangul. This app has given me a strong base of understanding the phonics of Korean. I am now able to read Hangul and that is helping me to learn more vocabulary. Koreans compliment me on my pronunciation and I think a big part of that is the clear audio and well done pronunciation by the native speaker on this app. My only suggestion is to allow a shortcut to the page that shows all of the letters learned so far. Sometimes I want to hear the pronunciation of one letter and it can be a annoying to flip through to the alphabet page or to find the specific section covering that letter.
