Version 1.3

The 1.3 release includes the following new capabilities:
- transcribe image-only PDFs on import or on request;
- organize your documents into embeddable spaces;
- flatten your spaces to simplify complex hierarchies;
- manage multiple AI chats, then search or sort them;
- include your comments as bubbles in presentations;
- limit your presentation slides based on specific tags;
- create or import text documents that you can stylize;

The release also includes various usability, stability, and performance improvements.

This is clearly a work of passion

When I first downloaded it, I was struck. No ads, no data collected, and working entirely on my mac. I thought, this is what I've wanted for years and nobody has had the guts to build! The way I've set it up, it's like my own personal intranet, so that I can summarize and discover in any PDF I find. I'll be looking very much forward to subsequent versions, I really want to see where this goes.

Love this app!

I work with thousands of PDF files and I've tried every tool out there help me wrangle them. Some of the tools I use now, like DevonThink 3, have changed the game for me. kOS is the next generation of tools to organize your writing and research.

I really do love this app. It's got great functionality, but it's also very... how should I put it?... elegant! Yes, it is well-designed and elegant.

Wow!

This app does not collect any data? It essentially allows you to create a library from your PDF files. Organized into user defined subject level databases.

Finally something useful to do with the all of the PDF Files I have been hoarding.
