Great product ideas emerged when two disciplines, woodworking and metalworking, collided. In 1986, Craig Sommerfeld was in the process of building his home and needed to find a way to attach his doweled face frames to his kitchen cabinet carcass members. Although he was a tool and die-maker by trade, and woodworker out of necessity, Craig had a problem. Not wanting to nail the face frames on and then fill them with putty, he designed and built “Craig’s Jig”, which was a single-hole pocket hole jig crafted from steel and aluminum. Craig’s Jig allowed him to attach the face frames from the cabinet’s interior, where the joint could be hidden from view.
Encouraged by friends and coworkers, Craig built a few more jigs and set out to show them to the public at local woodworking shows. At these shows Craig met an audience who had no knowledge of the joinery method he was promoting, yet they were very interested in learning about a new way to build projects with wood. Week after week, month after month, year after year, Craig continued to build his products and promote them at weekend woodworking shows.
Hundreds of trade shows and thousands of demonstrations later, Kreg Tool Company has emerged as the leader in pocket-hole technology. From Kreg Jigs® to fully-automatic machines, Kreg offers simple solutions that have changed the way thousands of woodworkers join wood. In addition, Kreg offers other innovative tools for clamping, joining, routing, cutting and measuring, and more.

Not sure how to use this app
Is this app supposed to show me available Kreg tools? Can I actually order tools from this app? This app is quite laggy and is hard to stay interested in. Not useful, nor worth my time.
Kreg Tool should find an app developer through Iowa State Univeristy and do some research on what your buyers are looking for in an app. This one is no good.
Maybe you could create an app that shows DIY plans for projects, using your tools, and why your tools make the project easier.
It’s like an app...but not.
This app doesn’t work. I love Kreg tools but the app is awful. Laggy, no prices on most items, terrible interface and I’m not even sure what you’re supposed to do with it??
It needs some SERIOUS updating but may be best to just start over with a developer that knows what they’re doing. Disappointing.
Not a KregTool App
This seems to be from Lee’s Tools, not Kreg itself. It’s just a shopping app, no tips, nothing special about Kreg news or how to use them, just a simple shopping app. Don’t waste your time.
