With the KYOCERA Mobile Print app, you can use your iOS device to discover compatible KYOCERA printing devices on your local Wi-Fi network. If supported by your printing device, Wi-Fi Direct lets you connect directly to a printing device without a local Wi-Fi network. When connected, you can do the following:
• Print photos and documents stored on your iOS device or a supported external service. KYOCERA Mobile Print can handle a wide range of file formats, including .HTML, .JPG, .PDF, .PNG,RTF, .TIFF, .TXT, and .XPS, as well as file types produced in iWork, Microsoft Office, or Google Docs
• Scan your documents on a compatible printing device to print or save to your iOS device or a supported external service
• Attach and send documents that are stored within the app by email
• Print webpages accessed through the app's built-in web browser
The following external services are supported in KYOCERA Mobile Print:

• SMB (Shared Folder)
The KYOCERA Mobile Print app is compatible with the following iOS devices and KYOCERA printing devices:
• Apple iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices running iOS version 11.0 or later

Please update for New Apple Shortcuts
I have loved this app, and have been grateful for the newest additions—like being able to print either landscape or portrait, for example.
Now, with the latest iOS, my iPad and iPhone want to give me shortcuts for things, but I have no way to make this Kyocera Mobile Print work with the shortcuts. And this is the shortcut I most need! Right now, the Apple interface with Kyocera Mobile App is cumbersome. I have to choose an action, then choose “. . . “ and then scroll down and ask for more, even sometimes, before finding the option to print my item. Before the most recent update it wasn’t this big an issue. So either please tell us how to make this smoother or find a way to fix the issue.
Otherwise, I like this app and am grateful for the way I can print from my iPad. I’d just like to be able to do it with far fewer steps. Thank you!
iOS 11 update
The app worked great until the latest update came out. Deleted it and reinstalled it but still can’t print out pictures on my device. The app needs an update.
Simple & Efficient
This app is simple in nature and just works - as one would hope from a utility app. I can reach it via share sheet from any application where printing may be relevant and can therefore push out any print job without fuss. It allows me to use our many year old Kyocera Laser Printer (loud and of excellent quality!!) with my iPad.
