L-20 Control is an app that enables wireless control of the ZOOM LIVETRAK L-20/L-20R. If a BTA-1* or other wireless adapter (sold separately) for ZOOM products is connected to an L-20/L-20R, an iPad with this app can be used as a remote controller for the L-20/L-20R.
*With a BTA-1, transmission up to 10 m is possible when used indoors without obstacles.
L-20 Control can be used at a distance from the L-20/L-20R. For example, it can be use to mix while listening from a seat in the audience, or an iPad with the app can be provided to a performer to use for monitor mixing while the engineer uses the L-20 itself to mix for the main speakers.
・Simple intuitive user interface just like the L-20
・15-band stereo graphic equalizer control
・All level meters shown simultaneously
・Name and color settings for every channel
*The following bugs were fixed in this release.
1. L-20 Control closed when it was kept connected with an L-20/L-20R for several hours.
2. Faders could not be operated on L-20 Control when the sampling rate was 96 kHz.

Works great with L-20r
I have this L-20 Control app running on 5 IPads with my Livetrack L-20r. One iPad for front of house and the other 4 for personal monitor mixes. App has worked great with no issues and very easy to use . Very satisfied with this set up so far.
App now working on new iPad/iPadOS 13
I harassed Zoom customer service a lot, did deep research and bought a Mini3 (which can’t update to iPadOS 13) in order to get my new L-20R working. 11/8/2019 Zoom support advised me the updated App is ready. I updated the new iPad I bought before the Mini3, the App now runs and it connected right up to the L-20R.
I haven’t had time to learn how to use the L-20R, but the feature set and form factor have sounded perfect for my needs since they first announced the product. It’s a small, lightweight, versatile unit that can provide six custom mixes for monitoring.
This is an updated review from my earlier version a few days ago (when I couldn’t get the L-20R to work at all). If I have something more to say when I get to know the unit, I’ll update again.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
