The devils tower

I usually hold most games up to the Ravenhearst series. To me those have been the best of the best so far.
This game was really close. The story line was clean and interesting. I didn’t have to guess what they wanted from me, I didn’t have to marry anybody. Pleasant also was not having to check the map constantly to figure out where to go. The story flowed very nicely and made some sense as far as sci-fi goes. The inventory was near enough to the “action” that I remembered what the items were for. And no back and forth- find an item here-use it way back there. I loved the graphics and the colors and the puzzles. I am not very good at the shoot the colored balls game and I’m not very good at drawing around the screen so I skipped those but other than that the games were do able. I wish there was a better way to wipe out the bag guy- push him off a wall or cliff or something. To wrap it up I liked the game. I am going to enjoy the bonus game thanks.

Awesome!

I love Domini games, especially this series. They have tons of puzzles/mini-games, and many actually require you to think<gasp>!! But they are not impossible by any means. And one of my favorite features of this developer’s games, is that most puzzles have a hard or easy option. I prefer hard, but if puzzles aren’t your thing you can do easy. Also a fair number of HOS. The story is good, graphics great, and so much to do in each scene. Unlike Elephant games, the gameplay does not consist entirely of: find amulet, insert amulet, repeat. Only one glitch: when you are placing the circles into the hexagon, it will not accept the solution on hard mode, but switch to casual/easy and it’s fine.

Devils Tower is a delight!

Domini Games did an awesome job on this one! Artwork is crisp and clear, gameplay is smooth, map is clear, concise and has an option to show extra items, toolbar tells you what kind of collectable you are looking for such as artifacts or morphing plants. The only issue I had was that the artifacts were very small so keep your eyes open! Every time I thought the game was wrapping up I was surprised by a twist or turn - this game is wonderfully long! I’m glad they released it early so we could have a game over the holidays (and the big fish employees can have their holiday weekend). Verdict: Buy and enjoy and happy holidays!
