The LACMA Member Card gives you the ability to carry your member ID with you everywhere you carry your phone—it’s a great way to go green and never have to worry about whether or not you remembered to bring your member ID! Getting started is easy: just enter your member ID number into the app. You’ll get a verification code emailed to you or sent by text message. Don’t know your member ID, or just joined? Input your phone number or email address and we’ll match it to your record and send you the verification code. Show your Member Card at any LACMA Ticket Office for your free tickets, access to Member Previews and Member Mondays, and much more. The LACMA Digital Member Card provides the exact same access to the array of benefits that your plastic card did—all while going green!

Tap top left corner to update
It does what it advertises, it displays your LACMA membership. Helps me with reciprocity at other museums too. UI is less than intuitive, if you need to “login” in order for your expiration date to update after a renewal, tap the Mobile Member Card section in the top left of the app. Only took me years to figure out ...
Not sure why this isn’t rolled into the regular LACMA app (also rarely updated). Lack of wallet support is mystifying.
Should be part of LACMA app or Wallet
Yes, it's quick to set up and it worked at the ticket counter, but it's an entire app for showing basic information (name and member number)? Should have at least been part of the LACMA main app or at most Apple wallet compatible.
Just like everyone said...
This app is a waste. I renewed my membership earlier this month and just downloaded the app, despite everyone saying how bad it is. I entered my info and it shows that my membership expired in 2013 (which the original one did) and it says my membership level doesn’t exist because it thinks my membership expired. I guess I’ll be showing my photo ID when I go and deleting this useless app.
