Description

Let's meetup. Share snaps.

Lampost is a platform that combines the features of hosting/joining an in-person meetup with photo/video sharing. Lampost allows you to enjoy real connection, make real friends and share spontaneous moments in one space.

Host and join in-person meetups:
If you want to host a meetup, you can do it right here. If you have an idea or plan a meetup, please fill out and post a simple form with about 6 information in total such as the date, cost to attend etc. You can also share your launched meetup on external social media and direct people here if you need.
If you are looking for a meetup, try to find one here that you want to attend. The intuitive interface with map and icons makes it easy to find one. If there is a bbq icon in Central Park, you can tell at a glance that a bbq meetup is being held there. Sounds really fun. Lampost also makes it easy to understand the personality of each person. Each user can add a tag, which is a combination of an icon and an emoji, to themselves. This is called “Badge”. It is a fun way to introduce who you are by using it and see what other people are like. Encourage you to use it to express what kind of person you are. It's a more enjoyable experience than writing a long sentence of blah blah blah.
Find a meetup you’ll enjoy and jump into it.
Once you launch or join a meetup, you can also join a private group chat. Here you can ask launcher about the meetup. Each chat message has specific type such as general, reply, question, help (for emergency), image and meetup update. You will be able to see what kind of chats were sent in the room by notifications. You particularly should be aware of when a question or meetup update chat is done.

Original camera:
Use Lampost's built-in camera to capture precious moments during your meetups. There are no filter options for elaborate editing. Instead, it features instant tag and friend cam functions.
By instant tag feature, you can tag your friends immediately after taking a snap. You can use this feature to record what you have done with your friends on the spot and your friends will be attributed to your photos/videos.
You can also use the Friend cam function to take a snap of your friend with your phone. By using this, your friend's photo taken with your phone will be saved as your friend's, not yours. You don't have to send a photo/video you took to your friend through another chat app later.
Capture genuine moments with your meetup members instead of aiming to self-promote with a lot of fancy filters.

Flexible photo/video sharing system:
Now it's time to share your snaps.
Lampost's photo/video sharing feature is designed for intimate and collaborative sharing experience. It is not a place to put thousands of hash marks or fancy edits on your photos to market you.
You share your snaps in the “Library”, which is a closed space where people with similar interests can come together to share photos and videos. You can join multiple libraries.
Each library has its own unique policy.
1. What kind of meetup moments to share
2. What kind of media content to share
3, Publicly opened space or private space
4, Whether reaction/comment is available or not
5, If reaction is available, what reaction options you can use.
Find a space that suits for you, join it, and enjoy sharing photos and videos. If you can't find one, create your ideal photo/video sharing space from scratch. It is very easy and quick to do.
