Version 1.6.1
In this update, we made some updates to try to stabilize how the app handles video ads. As this is an intermittent issue, it's a bit tough to track down. So if you have the time or inclination to help test please reach out to us at app@vice.com and we'll add you to our TestFlight pool.

Latest update ***DROPS SUPPORT FOR GOOGLE CAST. ***
It’s also obvious that they are now implementing ads in the run time of every show with the latest update.
Had some trouble with an old version of the app casting to my Vizio google cast TV, I thought an update might help. What a shame such a good network is now focusing in on removing key features that make the app practical and will soon put those features behind a paywall. Utterly shameful. And the quality of vice programming is continuing to slide.
Horrible app from a great publication
There is a huge problem with how ads are integrated in video playback. Every time an ad runs, the video starts all the way over from the beginning. There is also a huge problem in casting to TVs. I expected so much more out of Vice, this is really sad. Another failed opportunity capitalize on issues that their consumers want.
Poor functionality
I never write reviews but it was that or throw my phone through a window after watching the same commercials for the third time in five minutes. Love the content but the poor functionality is actually pushing me to other news sources. For a company that tries so hard to be progressive and in touch you would think an intuitive mobile app would be a given.
