Description
Expand the features of your Landice exercise equipment. Monitor your workout history. Collect, share and post your workout efforts.
This Application allows collection and monitoring of workout data on the 2016 or later Cardio and Executive Treadmills and Ellipticals. Your workout history can be reviewed. Workouts can be posted to third party sites, such as Runkeeper, MapMyRun, and Strava. For Landice customers, this also allows registration of your product, saving of setup information. This application collects health and exercise related information from the equipment, stores it for your review and allows you the option to send it to social media, or third party exercise tracking sites, such and Strava, Runkeeper, and MapMyRun. The application does not access any other health data that resides on your mobile device. It does not access or store data to the Health App.

Added Bluetooth FTMS Service. This allows connection to a wide range of manufacturers equipment which implement this standard, such as those that use the GEM modules.
Added automatic FTMS/FES Service priority logic to prefer FTMS.
Added GEM Serial service to provide for future connections for service data.
Buffered Measurements to combine multipacket loads. This allows use with equipment which transmits more data than can be contained in a single Bluetooth packet.
Added Bluetooth Advertising Service decoding to get equipment types and show them during Equipment scan.
Added name translation to translate Landice Equipment names to more friendly aliases for workout sharing.
This also allows names to be coded when using GEM modules which do not provide this feature.
Added Preliminary Service menu for Service personnel.

Amazing Treadmills Terrible App
Landice by far makes the best treadmills on the market today. You would think that they would have the tech to support these amazing machines but sadly they do not.
This is an extremely basic app that connects to the treadmill and essentially saves the same information that the treadmill saves on its console to your phone. However, the information that is saved is terrible. You’ll get a break down of your run duration, calories burned, and total run time. It doesn’t even tell you your mile times! This makes publishing your data to third party apps like Strava or Runkeeper absolutely pointless since all the data you will see is “X many miles run in X amount of time.
Very sad to see the lack of a functioning app for this amazing treadmill.
Not good enough
The app does not do the brand name justice. Landice makes incredible treadmills, but as far as apps this is fairly poor in functionality and design.
For the longest time (months) I could not figure out how to actually have the treadmill send the data to the app. It took me filing a support ticket to learn that it requires you to hit the power off button to trigger the data sending to the phone.
I am glad they have runkeeper integration but the app currently does not add the workout data to the Apple health app, which is pretty limited functionality for a “fitness” app.
Has potential
This app is very limited at the moment. First of all, I can’t even find instructions for how to use it. The description says that you can transfer your settings to a treadmill, but I can’t figure out how to do that. While you can save your runs to Runkeeper and a few other applications, currently you can’t save them to the Activity app. That would be a great enhancement.
