I’ve been using Langotalk since it was just web based and it was first launched. The dev is amazing and has worked so hard. So many apps take your money and don’t care, but Ariel definitely does. The app is consistently kept up to date and just keeps getting better and better. There are lots of apps that you can use AI to practice languages with, but I honestly feel this is the best. I use it all the time for my Spanish and Portuguese practice.

First up, I haven’t used it much, so it could be user error, but it doesn’t seem to matter too much what level I set myself at, as the AI I’m chatting with seems to get a bit too excited and just runs away without me, so I end up just using the translator button so see what it said to me. Also, the feedback button doesn’t really tell me what I said in full. I think that would be nice. It tells me things like, “that was pretty good!” And suggests full sentences I could use for a different feel, but doesn’t actually say, “You said blah blah blah”, so I don’t know exactly how accurate I was. There are other little errors here and there, but overall, it’s quite engaging and fun and I’m excited to use it more!
