Seems accurate but limited

Very user friendly and inexpensive for what seems like a quality tool. ***be forewarned as it is not advertised in the app listing - the range is only 10 meters (just shy of 33 feet). If you are looking to measure distance less than that, I’d say this app would be a good choice. For my intended purpose (measuring 50 feet when investigating noise complaints), this app unfortunately will not serve my need and so I’ve wasted the $2. Not a big deal, but I do wish the dev would have listed the measuring distance for us. Great job otherwise, hopefully this helped someone!

Really Accurate. Though its only in Metric. No imperial measurements.

It was accurate at 1.52 meters or 5ft when I tested it with a tape measure.

Its only in Metric. No imperial measurements.

I have no complaints other than that. Though I wish it had both options. While I can estimate metric measurements fairly well. I know imperial measurements far better since its what I am most use it and are more accurate with my ability to visually judge measurements in the imperial standard.

Decided to pay for the app because I thought it would be handy. It’s not a bad price for something that would be useful from time to time. I do plan to test it more to see how accurate is. But I know at 5 feet it’s definitely accurate. Im not sure about much greater distances but I wouldn’t see why it would be less accurate. Perhaps at most it might be off a couple inches at greater distances but then again. They accuracy at greater distances could be impacted simply by the angle you hold the phone. So maybe, including a level on the screen would be something worth adding so the phone is held level if that’s important for measuring distance.

Developer Response ,

The next version will add imperial units and a level.
