New app behaves differently than old

Best I can tell the new app only works inside safari. Each time the app icon is clicked it puts a splash screen on the desktop that give instructions but no exit, does not update you are complete, and never opens an app window. I done the step 3 times and uninstalled and reinstalled with same results. When you open safari the LassPass hamburger icon is there and seems to function but don’t expect to modify or see all your entires. New app seriously needs a user guide or install steps that work. This is all too bad because I like the IOS app and old Mac App..

Safari extension for Mac

Sunsetting stand along Mac App and relying on Safari extension only is a HORRIBLE direction. Not sure what was LastPass US LP contract separating from its previous parent company, but I hope LastPass US LP will bring back a stand alone LastPass app back.

Works better on macOS Sequoia Safari now

Although I’ve seen complaints about being tied to just Safari for now, at least now it works seamlessly as it does on iPadOS and iOS. On Sequoia, I was having trouble with Safari keeping in sync with app to fill-in passwords, requiring logout and login from Safari menu bar.

Looking forward PassKey support release, and would expect that support for Chrome, Firefox, … would come eventually.
