1. Don't learn the language. Acquire it!

There is a difference between learning a language and really acquiring it. Language acquisition is the instinctive way of using a language that is refined by grammar and builds vocabulary. Latudio is designed for you to acquire the language in a natural way.

2. Pause and translate in real time

Listening practice is underrated. It happens in language conversation practice and language immersion, if you don’t take it seriously enough, it can be a waste of time. That’s why Latudio gives you native speakers with pause-and-translate feature. It’s like language immersion with smart support.

3. Don't read, listen to it!

Listening to movies with subtitles mostly teaches you to read, not to listen. It's hard to admit but it's true. With Latudio you practice listening, listening, and listening. Reading translations is not our primary goal.

4. Understand words in context

Context is really important. Translating what you read and hear takes a lot of time, and often there are many words to choose from. With Latudio, you can review saved words in their original context and know exactly where and how to use them in a specific situation / next time.

5. Review in your own way

It’s difficult to repeat and review words across different websites, books, and apps. In Latudio, every word you click on in listening messages, speaking scripts, and written sentences are saved for you to review as words, phrases and sentences.

6. Recognize every shape of a word

Even though you memorized a noun or verb word, it can be hard to recognize its other forms as declensions or conjugations. With Latudio, you can review all the other ways that a noun or verb are used.

7. Think like a native

Practicing speaking by translating your native language structure into a new foreign language doesn’t really work. People can understand, but to really get the language, it’s better to practice speaking like a native. With Latudio, you can use the scripts to practice speaking and think like a native.

8. Build a confidence step by step

When you can’t understand and then don’t speak, your confidence goes down. Building confidence comes from succeeding gradually, in steps where understanding and skill progress. With Latudio and its smart algorithm, exercise difficulty goes up and down based on how well you do.

9. Have fun

When something is enjoyable, we repeat it. Latudio is designed like a game or an interactive story, with graphics, photos and videos to make your time enjoyable. Not only time goes fast but also learning goes better when having fun.

Unique language learning platform

As someone who has tried ALL the language learning apps, I can definitely say this one is different.

It skips over vocab memorization and goes into useful phrases that help you learn along the way. It also implements speaking in a way that encourages pronunciation practice, which is something I have found very useful.
