Leicester Business Festival was the first two-week business festival ever to be run in the UK and, in its fourth year, it is now a firm feature in the local business calendar.

Each year, the Festival sees over 100 events attended by over 10,000 people and it is easily the largest business event in the region.

LBF aims to drive economic growth across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for the benefit of all who live, do business and work there.

Events of all descriptions are staged by local businesses to help business growth; challenge and stimulate. The Festival is also a fantastic way to draw attention to the region as it demonstrates our strengths, innovation, commerce, culture and huge investment potential to the rest of the world.

LBF is operated by the Leicester Business Festival Community Interest Company (CIC) and run in association with Associate Events. It is a non-profit making entity and if any money is made, it is re-invested back into the Festival to make it bigger, better and more effective.

The entire Festival is run by business, for business and while there is an organisation providing the infrastructure to organise and promote the Festival itself, event organisers, partners and supporters take the lead in organising events and collectively set the agenda and programme each year.

For the fourth year running, De Montfort University’s inspirational Leicester Castle Business School, is the Festival’s Headline partner.

Leicester Castle Business School was created to meet the needs of 21st-century business, by offering a unique learning environment where students can define a learning and career pathway that is right for them. The School works very closely with businesses to provide high-quality education that will equip students with the expertise, knowledge and specialist skills needed by the businesses within Leicester and Leicestershire to enable reinvestment in the region and business growth.
