Description
The LDS Mission Countdown iPhone application is a virtual calendar that allows you to watch the days go by until your missionary's or your own mission is complete!
Days are automatically filled in on a chart in the shape of the Salt Lake Temple. When a new area is added the color of the dots will change. Within each area there is the ability to keep track of multiple companions. You can also share progress in a timeline with friends and family in person, via email, or post to Facebook!

Great App- just wish for a few things
I got this app and love it but they changed a few things and made some of it better but some of it I want back. When I click to see the whole temple being filled in- it doesn't show me the whole thing anymore. It would also be great if you could have the option of having it track by companion and not only the area. But I do love everything else about it!!
Good App
We really like being able to track our son’s mission. Like that we can see graphically when he’s changed an area by the different color dots. Being able to add notes and keep track of the different companions is good as well.
Would like to be able to add pictures to the notes, though. If there is a way to do it currently, it’s not easy to figure out.
Super great for missionary girlfriends!
I've been waiting for my missionary about 8 months now! And it's been super fun since day one to watch the dots fill up the picture! A little pricey for what it is, but it's been fun! Also I bought another missionary countdown and it's definitely not worth buying it again. Price is high, but it's a fun app. Especially when you are waiting for a loved one!
