Description
For Bowling Leagues that utilize the League Secretary service, this app enables you to view your current season bowling league Standings, Recaps, Schedule, along with Bowler and Team histories for the season.
The app will also send you notifications on when your league admin has updated your data as well as a notification on the day you bowl telling you what lane you are bowling on.
Access for an unlimited number of leagues to:
• Standings and Recap Sheets
• Individual Bowler and Team Info
• Bowler and Team Lists
• Season Schedule
• Standings Update and Lane Assignment Alerts
An optional subscription is available at 1 month ($.99) and 1 year ($9.99) durations. The subscription will turn off all advertisements.
• The subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Current subscription may not be cancelled during the active subscription period; however, you can manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

Horrible App
Their website is horrible. It looks like a teenager's MySpace page from the 90s with ads everywhere! I tried the app--save your time, don't! They want a dollar a month for a service that was once free. Sure, my secretary/league should pay for the software, but I shouldn't be charged to view the data. This stupid company also charges to remove the ads from their website. Here's what I did: Download AdBlock and view your league info online. Works perfectly and free.
UPDATE: I received an email from the developers informing me that they revamped their app and asked me to revise my review. At first glance, their app is clean and very nice. I would gladly pay $5 or so once, but refuse to pay any company a subscription. I opted for free with ads, which they just added. Ironically, I didn’t see any ads yet. I assume they’re coming. In summary, the new app seems very good, but you can also just visit their website with a good ad-blocker. I do prefer the app though.

Much better release. Clean format with minimal ads, without the subscription.
Better than website with a million ads. One short ad then you can access all your league information in a clean format without the subscription.

I don’t see the problem here
I guess bowlers are just a bunch of whiners. Yes, if you have a free app, you’re going to have to pay for ads. If you don’t like the ads, then buy the app. The app works great and has a lot of great data in it. I have never had an issue with it and look forward to the updates every week.
