Textbook English is not the English people speak. The characters you follow every night use the real thing: quick, messy, everyday language, full of the lines and idioms that native speakers reach for without thinking. That language goes past too fast to catch, and stopping to look up every word kills the episode. So we took it out of the shows for you.
Instead of a textbook list, you study the actual words and lines the characters say, with the meaning shown in your own language. Then spaced repetition brings each word back right before you would forget it, and quizzes keep testing you until it sticks.

Study The Language People Actually Use
Thousands of words and real example lines, pulled from shows and films you recognise. Every word arrives with context: who said it, and what it meant. That is why it stays. A word you met in a scene you remember is a word you can use in a conversation.

Recognising a word is not knowing it. Our spaced repetition system schedules every review at the moment it does the most good, and quizzes come at you in several different formats, so you are recalling words rather than just nodding at them.

You cannot upload your own content either. Every show is prepared by our team, so the translations stay consistent.
