Ratings and Reviews
This is a great beginning to an app. The native speaker is accurate and authentic, the app includes useful words and phrases and explains important things within the 'lesson' portion, includes masculine and feminine identification where applicable, and it is easy to use.
However, the app seems to consistently misspell words when the letter שׁ 'shin' should be used and replaces them with the letter שׂ 'sin,' and then uses the seen pronunciation in the English transliteration. It's not a problem if you're familiar with Hebrew but should be corrected and also note that the native speaker correctly pronounces the word despite the erroneous transliteration and spelling.
There is a problem with my iPad, the shwa (ְx) is not displayed correctly in the update, instead it displays the (ִx) hireq. This is also the case for all the other vowel points that extend more than one dot below the consonant such as the kibbutz and segol. Simply put, the program is cutting off the bottom of the vowels and this needs to be fixed on my iPad, but again this is only on my iPad and my iPhone displays the vowels correctly.
Please do a verb app for Hebrew like you did for Spanish!!!
NOT for those who plan on traveling
It figures, the only reason I got the app was because I wanted to learn some travel phrases, but those require in app purchases.
Love this, I am having a great time learning Hebrew!
