Just Remarkable

I continue to be astonished at the quality of this free app. It grounds you in basic theory and gives plenty of guidance toward practical usage. Lessons are sequential, building from the simplest of concepts with slowly-increasing complexity. He also takes pains to explain just *why* nuanced differences apply in varied word forms, and you can usually slow the audio to hear the nuance of pronunciation. Navigation is quick and easy, and although you will have ads to deal with, they are really not intrusive. I would gladly pay a nominal fee for a lifetime license with no ads. What a kindness this author has extended to language lovers!

Almost perfect

I have been learning Italian for two years and enjoy listening to this app on the way to or from work. A couple of changes to this app would make this a five star app. Firstly, create a way so that users can press “play” and listen to all of the cards in a study unit without having to click the next > button every single time a word is done. Secondly, please fix the audio. Sometimes the audio works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve emailed this concern and it’s still not working properly.
This app is extremely thorough in content and highly organized, but these two issues stated above make it difficult to keep using it.

incredible teaching style

I was using duolingo before and just couldn't get into it because they don't genuinely teach you, they show you then expect you to blindly understand and follow. this app not only genuinely teaches you but walks you through every step, I went from only knowing ‘ciao’ to being able to count as high as i have time for in Italian and being perfectly able to hold a decent conversation in Italian with my friend from Milan, all in less than 2 months. Truly amazing app.
