I’ve purchased a subscription but I’m a bit upset about it now. The reason why I paid all this money was when I watched a small clip of Rhonda Lawes explaining ABG’s and she broke everything down so well that now I’m an expert in ABG’s. When I looked up other subjects, it was mostly other professors lecturing about them. They’re nowhere near as good as Rhonda. She explains things so well, breaks them down in a way for you to really understand. Throws a few corny jokes here and there to make sure you pay attention. She’s a wonderful teacher and should make more lectures (yes I know she can’t do it all by herself) but Lecturio would be a lot better with more teachers like her. Side note to teachers: When teaching, please try to briefly break things down and not assume everyone knows or SHOULD KNOW everything already. The lectures are short, and straight to the point. I hope as I go further Into medsurge I find more of Rhonda’s lectures. She’s really good.

I go to a newer medical school that still has some bugs to be worked out with regard to which professor covers what material and to what extent. Lecturio has saved the day by giving me the option to learn in as little or as much detail about any topic covered by a professor that I don’t learn well from.In addition, their Qbank is thorough and provides immediate feedback that is helpful for early studying (I’m a first year and do board questions concurrently with lectures). They have concise diagrams and the questions tell you exactly what they’re looking for. I’ve noticed that other resources have typos or non-board style questions so it’s been great to have Lecturio instead.All in all, no matter what your learning style is, there is a way for you to learn using Lecturio.
Regarding the USMLE Step 1 part: There are quite a number of typographical errors which are tolerable. But what I cannot tolerate on the Qbank part is picking the correct answers but when you reveal the explanation to your answer it turns out to be wrong because it highlights the wrong answer instead of the correct one. And when you read the explanations of that pseudo-correct answer, it describes the “real correct answer”. Please review the Qbank and correct these minor issues. But a great study tool otherwise.

I purchased 3 month trial and I didn’t like their content because I found many mistakes in their content and when I contacted them they insist nothing wrong, and they charge much more than other apps do like I had lifelong subscription for Dr. Najeeb lectures for $10 and there are dozen of better apps with less cost,and also they hide something and it’s really shame that is they set me on auto renewal which I didn’t want to do and when I asked for refund they refused. I thought this app was run by doctors but apparently it’s not. If there was zero star I will not hesitate ti give it to them. At last customer please service please don’t bother yourself with copy and paste your auto replay I know your replay will be we usually set auto renewal so you don’t loss your subscription, this is shameful rubbery.

Our users are informed of this at several points during the payment process and in the confirmation email after the purchase, which also states that the deactivation has to take place at least 5 days prior renewal date. The content is outstanding but the technicality leaves a lot to be desired. The app crashes often and logs me out every time I exit. I contacted tech support and their only solution was “uninstall and reinstall” which is a hassle in and of itself. I really wanted to rate 5 stars but the constant crashing is extremely frustrating when I need to retrieve information quickly.

I love your teaching... But, one thing is to teach and another is to make your students understand where they don’t by answering questions. I subscribed so I could prepare for MCAT, and I saw that one of the answers to one of the questions was not correct. I asked why the answer did not tally with what the teacher just taught (for maybe it was a mistake on the app or something)and it’s been over a week and no one has answered me. That’s not good😔

I’ve LOVED using this app to prepare to start medical school. It’s straightforward and EXTREMELY well organized, making the topics easily accessible. I can also enjoy some time with Mother Nature camping and spend a few minutes when I have a down second reviewing downloaded material. I love the testing and quizzing after each 3-9 minute video. It’s really helped me think about the material in a different way.
I love this App, i’ve had it for more than a year now and its helped me throughout the hardest years of medical school. But i have noticed that after some recent updates, the video streaming quality is terrible! I am currently standing 4 feet next to my router that puts out 60mb a second and i still encounter freezing videos and laggy quality. That is the only issue that i have with the app, other than that is great.

The content is great! However, they don’t use the native video player and there are no keyboard controls. I have to find the tiny little play/pause button every time, which can be tiresome. I’d like to be able to use the arrow keys (or similar) to skip ±15s as well, or have a shortcut to speed up/slow down the video.Otherwise the app seems pretty nice so far.

1. While using Airplay, if I press pause, after about 30 seconds the video will skip to the next video which will play on my external screen.2. The screen is not responsive to tapping while in horizontal view. 3. While in horizontal view, it’s hard to go back to the regular screen. I have to press “replay” icon which will the screen reset to vertical view.
