A good app for my led light

I absolutely love the LEDLight app! It’s super easy to use and perfect for so many situations — whether I need a flashlight at night, a reading light, or even some ambient lighting when I'm relaxing.

Useless

Hi downloaded this app because it pops up when I typed in the name of a product I bought. But before you can even set the light bulb up the app tells you to purchase a subscription plan. At the time I still thought the app was legit so I purchased the $70/year plan. Right after the purchase went through I tried setting up the light bulb and it didn’t work at all I would just sit on the final set page. Within that same hour I contacted the app via email and told them not to finish the process of my payment because the app doesn’t actually operate the light bulb. I let them know I want the subscription cancelled. It has been almost a week and the subscription has now fully processed out of my bank account. I can’t even delete the app or account with them yet because I gotta make sure they refund me. I got one response via email the first night saying to provide screenshots and further explain the issue. Well I have and no response back so now I’m leaving a review this APP is garbage. Now refund my $70 and cancel my subscription.

This is NOT the LIFX App and you won’t get refund

I bought some Philips yard lights. Instructions said to get the LIFX app. I searched the App Store and this popped up. Had LIFX prominently displayed in thumbnail and I mistakenly got the app. When I tried to launch I got a message that I either needed to pay a monthly membership or a one-time “lifetime membership”. I was surprised at the fee but paid it thinking I needed it to use my new light system.

When I tried connecting to the lights I found I was not able to. It was supposed to be a simple one-step connection but after fighting with the menus I began to wonder if I’d made a mistake. Went back to App Store and discovered this was not the right app.

I finally got the correct app. It was free and it did connect very easily. I requested a refund on this app but Apple denied the request. Said it was not eligible. I appealed with explanation but they denied again. So, I’m out $60 on an app I can’t use. Not happy but figured telling my story might save someone else the headache and expense.
