Bare bone that works in the field. Needs iPad version
I have been using this app for about 3 months now on an iPad. I knocked off one star because there is no iPad version available. I believe that a large market is being missed by not having an iPad version.
Other than that I have no complaints as a field technician that uses this on a daily basis. It is not as powerful as the desktop version but it really doesn't need to be. I can access my tickets update them and create new tickets as well.
If an iPad version isn't in the works I would like to at least see a version that will rotate so I can use my typeface cover.
Overall this is a good app as long as users realize that this is not intended to replace the full blown desktop version.
You really need to develop an iPad version.
My request still stands, but I do need to add some positive feedback. After acclimating to ConnectWise from my previous CRM, this app is quite handy to make quick entries or updates while on the run. Certain basics such as Time entry, Tickets, and Service Boards is really quite easy and convenient with this app. You get 5 stars from me if you integrate Touch ID as I recommended below.
ConnectWise provides access to some very confidential company data. A compromise could be detrimental to a company.
Although I appreciate the integration of two-factor authentication for initial application access, clicking home or switching apps, then reopening a running ConnectWise does not require re-authentication of any kind. This is a big concern. This app should properly require (or at least offer the option of) Touch ID in order to reopen. I would not think that would be too difficult to add.
Where's the support for the Plus versions of iPhone? The larger size is pointless when you can only view so little stuff with such a huge UI. It’s been 3 years since the plus versions were introduced...unacceptable!
Oh, and please make it so when you are in a ticket, a swipe from the left side of the screen acts like a back button instead of the ConnectWise tabs! Every app I’ve used, makes that a standard even iOS menus are like that.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
