After a shaky initial startup, getting able to log into the app and such it has worked fairly well with the exception of being able to quickly scroll through transactions without the app bogging down with each up or down swipe. That part is really frustrating to say the least!! I often wonder why the old app was replaced? It worked a whole lot better than this new one. I still love Legacy In spite of this; they’ve been an excellent financial institution otherwise; I definitely won’t overreact and move my money.
Take Your Money & Run
This is absolutely the worst app ever for banking. I have been a loyal Legacy CU member for years, but changing this app was a BIG mistake. I have contacted customer service and tech support to no avail. I was told that it was my phone. The. I was told that they were working on it and would call me back. That was in August. They never did and will not return my calls. I called yesterday again. Andrew in Customer Service told me to download the app again and it would work - that everything works fine. I did that, but it still doesn’t work. Every time I get to the screen to upload a check image, the screen freezes. So I can’t deposit a check remotely any longer. I guess you don’t want my money or. We’d my business. I called again today, asked for technical support and unfortunately got the same person again. He was patronizing and laughing frequently. I don’t find this funny at all. This is valuable time I am asking to get no where. I will be pulling my money out of your credit union and taking it to your competitors that value their customers. There is no excuse to not fix this in 6 months. Andrew tried to deny there were any problems; then apologized for the problems and let me know he was aware of them. After reading all the reviews, I KNOW we are all experiencing the same problems. Shame on you, Legacy.
I can count on three fingers the number of reviews I’ve ever given on anything and two of them were quite good....however, this app is so bad, even though I’m not as tech savvy as many of the other reviewers, I felt I should add my two cents anyway. I, too, found the requirement to reenroll ridiculous and felt like I was having to give to much sensitive info for an app that seemed glitchy at best. After several attempts, I ended up having to wait the better part of an hour to speak with a CSR who seemed exhausted after a day full of people like me. He was somewhat helpful, though and after a few more password issues, etc I finally loaded everything. Then the fun begins. Not only is the app extremely slow, but I found that I could not transfer from savings or checking to my Legacy credit card. Tried bill pay, no success. Today, could not even get the menu to pull up so I could log off properly. Very confusing layout, and hard to read. Nothing was wrong with the old way and this app is definitely less user friendly and just awful in so many ways. Sorry, Legacy, you blew it this time☹️
