The main reason I play this game is the for the childhood memories I get to remember while playing. It brings random memories of it to my imagination. Then I find that there is trivia and an imaginative story here as well. I love reading it, finding that no good or bad has barred the walls between ventures, but just to explore, or to build has bars around the two first two campaign stories. With the work and research they seem to be putting into the game, I got to get my brother hooked to the game. He is more fond of gameplay in this genre of game, and even so he seems to like playing it. I believe it helps that we have similar childhoods, but still. He seems to be a completely different person than me yet he still play’s. I guess it’s just fun to have a game we both enjoy and have a hint of interest in besides the gameplay. Thank you guys for the game and gameplay. Same as to the reviewers of reviews that give said info to other games as well as this one. Every job that helps people to live as well as survive is important, and I thank you should you read this.

God bless you.

Been waiting a long time for this!

First of all, I’ve been waiting for a lego game like this to come out ever since i got into this specific genre type on IOS/Android. When I saw this app appear in the AppStore it was an immediate download.
Real review:
The game is a lot of fun and, for me, pretty addicting. The game gives you a lot of energy when you first start too so you can play for quite a while. The game mechanics are cool and it was multiple stories, challenges, events, and characters. For the past few days I’ve been on this game every chance I get to, and I always enjoy it just as much as the last time.
HOWEVER: Once you get to where I am in the game (around level 10-15) you start to realize how little energy you have for things. I’m level 16 and my max energy isn’t even 100. Every quest takes up about 5 or more energy, which although might seem like you can play for a while, you can’t unless you don’t grind to boost character power, which is pretty much impossible. I’m able to waste 60+ energy in 5 minutes grinding for stuff. This morning it took me around 10 to 15 minutes to use up all of my energy. It takes 50 gems to refill energy, gems that you could also save for character packs, which is what I do. (It takes 400+ gems).
Although the game is a bit pay to win, and the max energy amount is quite low, I still get on the game as often as I can to play, and would highly recommend people to play this game.

80s/90s Kid imaginations realized.

This is an absolutely amazing game. Simple enough that my kids can pick it up and play it, but complex enough that there are strategies and synergies to play with in order to be competitive in pvp.

Honestly, the game deserves a solid 5 stars, but I decided to drop it down to 4 simply due to the events not being accessible to new players after the world wide release as they all seem tailored to those who’ve played since early access started in September (I.g. Couldn’t participate in the latest event at all because I didn’t have 5 city characters yet and for more events can only do one or two tiles because you need 2 or 3 star heroes).

Regardless, Gameloft has made every effort to ensure the early release servers and word launch servers are kept separate (even offering server transfers if you fell into the early release server in February). They offer enough variety that there is something new to do everyday day. Energy seems to replenish slowly, but that’s only because we’re all too addicted to put the phone down a few minutes. Looking forward to future content such as raids etc. Loving the nostalgia of being able to play with many of the characters friends or I owned back in the late 80s / early 90s.
