LemFi 4+

I needed to send funds back home to Nigeria, but wasn’t sure how best to go about it since I hadn’t done a transfer like this in many years. Back then I had to go in person to a Western Union branch, fill out a bunch of paperwork, pay a fee, then wait days for the money to get there with my fingers crossed.

A friend told me about this app and I’m genuinely impressed at how smooth the process was and how secure it all seemed. I was able to add multiple cards to the account, add funds seamlessly, and then within a few minutes the money was transferred across the globe! All with no additional transaction fees. I highly recommend using this if you ever need to send money to family, friends, associates, etc. internationally. Wonderful experience!

I had a very bad experience using LemFi to send money to my personal Indian bank account. I made two separate transfers — one for $1,200 and another for $500 . LemFi marked both transactions as "successful", but more than 24 hours later, the money still hadn’t been credited to my Indian account.

I reached out to-customer service more than 4 times , but instead of providing real help, they kept insisting the transaction was completed on their end — with no real proof or resolution. Meanwhile, I was left without my money, no clear explanation, and no reassurance of when (or if) the funds would arrive.

This experience caused a lot of stress and financial uncertainty. When you're sending money across borders — especially large amounts — reliability and transparency are everything. Unfortunately, LemFi failed me on both fronts.

Why I’m disappointed
- Over 24 hours with no delivery of funds
- No useful help from customer service
- Transactions marked “successful” without actual confirmation from my receiving bank
- Zero accountability or urgency from their side

I trusted LemFi with my hard-earned money, and they let me down. This app may work fine when everything goes smoothly, but the real test is how a company handles problems — and LemFi failed. I can’t recommend this service, especially for critical or high-value transfers.

I sent my balance to a foreign currency wallet in error. I called to find out what to do and was initially on hold for 2 hours. I tried reversing the amount back to Wellsfargo where I transferred it from, to no avail. Your system then asked me to change my password, which was brilliant, after coming up with multiple ERROR displays . It asked for my email and “drivers license” which was BRILLIANT!! 👏👏. HIGHLY SECURED!!! I sent a text and waited but no one responded. I then decided to call back and wait again. Luckily, my call got picked. Pheeew!! Problem solved after some anxious moments.
