Beautiful levels and a lovable mustachioed hero take the spotlight in Leo’s Fortune, a platformer that blends physics-based puzzles and timing challenges with a flurry of fresh concepts and delightfully challenging gameplay. Blast through the air from a pirate’s cannon, explore underwater caverns, or run for your life during intense chase sequences. Leo’s Fortune is a feast for the eyes and an immensely satisfying journey from start to finish.
This game has beautiful graphics, music, and storyline, all while still being able to be packed into a small little mobile game. I played this a a kid and decided to replay it again for fun, it was just as amazing as when I first played it, of needing to be varied by nostalgia like other older games. 10/10 would play again.
I just finished the game, with 20 levels I believe, this game is very addicting. It has a great story line to go along with it and incredible graphics. Each level has its own story and it very fun but I do warn you, each level does take a while to complete so if you're in a hurry and want to play a level really quick, then this isn't the game. Once you finish the game you unlock hardcore mode where you play as many levels as you can without dying and once you die, you're done. I do however have one suggestion. I would REALLY like to see more levels added to the game and of course with more stories. Maybe a new chapter of Leo's life after his gold was lost. Sorry if that was a spoiler for you lol. But seriously I really would like to have more levels to play and a new story line to be obsessed with. Maybe new characters that have their own story and you can have like 3 characters to play a bunch of levels with ( which I think would make this game even more fun and interesting than it is now). I rate this game a 10/10 but of course would like to see some additions made to it.
This game is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the graphics must be seen in action to be appreciated. I'm playing on an iPad mini retina and was absolutely blown away by the level of detail and smoothness of frame rate. But the fact that this game is visually more impressive than I thought possible for iOS devices isn't what surprised me the most: I expected good graphics... what really surprised me is that the gameplay is equally excellent. The controls work perfectly, and the character physics feel natural and intuitive. Levels are clever, and require environment interactions that are unique and quirky enough that I actually found myself grinning at their charm. There was clearly a ton of thought, love, creativity, and talent poured into this game, and I can assure you that you will not regret the $5 you spend. If you've ever felt ripped off by a freemium money trap, then support this developer and pick up this game, because the premium price is more than justified.
I wish I could dial my enthusiasm for this game back a little, but I won't. I believe this is probably the best mobile platformer game ever made (so far). Except for one portion of one stage where puffing Leo up like a balloon actually made him drop like an anchor, the controls are responsive and clever and invisible and perfectly at home on the touch screen. The visuals are sumptuous (full and detailed and a pleasure to look at), and sometimes I just play to look at them in all their glory. The gameplay is so smart and well-deserved that nearly every stage had me going "Wow!" at some new mechanic, some new contraption. It seemed endless. The story was satisfying like a good tale, with excellent writing and narration (Leo is a character that stays with you). Put all of those together, and this game is a gem, and deserves to keep having the love, all the love, and may all of you out there continue to discover the gold of Leo's heart.
This game is beautiful. I love the artwork, and the story is simple but interesting. Unfortunately the biggest draw back for me is the controls. I expected the left and right move buttons to be on opposite sides of the screen, well they aren't. Since they are both on the left side I find myself pressing the wrong button and sending Leo into the spikes or other obstacles. I really wish that I could toggle the location of the controls. And on that note I also wish I could toggle the sensitivity of the controls. Many times I find I am sending Leo flying off in the wrong direction. If these issues could be fixed I would definitely reconsider my rating. After update: I want to say I am so grateful that the concerns of the players /customers have been taken into consideration. The new controls work much smoother and have increased my enjoyment of this game tenfold. Thank you so much!
This is a perfect example of what I wish games on phones would aspire to be. This is basically a side scrolling platformer with some fun puzzle strategy and unique mechanics. The graphics and music are great and the story engaging enough. It’s simple and satisfying. But above all the best part is that it is a buy and play game with none of the micro transactions that have overtaken the App Store like a cancer. Sure there are games that are fun that have micro transactions but I believe they would have been better without them. This is a greasy greedy time for game developers to exploit as much cash from consumers as possible. So when developers make games like these I wish I could buy it 20 more times. Seriously, thank you sincerely for being brave enough to stand above the dredges of garbage games that litter our phones, consoles, and computers by making this game the way you did.
