Love the bulbs and the app
I love the bulbs and the app. Very neat. There was a little discovery to setting up the first bulb, so a bit more help would be nice. But, nothing major and after the first it was very simple to setup the rest. The Alexa integration works great. Really no complaints, very nice overall. The app is very functional, with all the features I was hoping for. It’s not really flashy, which I like, personally. No silly noisy glitz to complicate using the app. After a bit of exploring, I found everything I needed. These bulbs are fun. I spent an inordinate amount of time playing with the lighting settings and options. You might be a nerd if… 😜🥸
Great lighting when you want it
My son-in-law told me about these lightbulbs that you could control through your iPhone. I would recommend these to everyone. As the nights get dark earlier I am now adjusting the on/off times. You can adjust the brightness and the color. They light up my entire backyard. And I feel so secure with the one out front at the garage. They’re not expensive and definitely something you would be glad you purchased.
So frustrating
These lights disconnect and flash constantly. I have to re-connect the app every time I turn the lights off. Every time I turn the lights off I get a tutorial on how to use the bulbs. I cannot skip the tutorial. I have to tap through the tutorial 5 times because I made the terrible decision to replace my dining room bulbs with these. So, every day, morning and night, I have to re-connect the bulbs and tap through the tutorials 10 times a day (you have to tap specific places, so you cannot quick tap through it you have to pay attention). This doesn’t seem like a lot, until you’ve don’t it for a year. I’m going to be replacing these bulbs. They’re beyond frustrating.
