LeShop - Fashion Designer 4+

Ok so i love this game my screen time on it has been obscene in this past month, so keep that in mind. great game, highly recommend. i just cant help but get really frustrated sometimes when i lose a fashion show that i literally should have won. like i just did one and the theme was yellow and i literally put my whole self in yellow so fast, accessories, board and all, and i got the lowest score. mind you, none of the other girls i was competing with were wearing a lot of yellow, at least not nearly as much as I was. My board was 3 stars even. Then i proceeded to nail all the poses but since they did as well I got out on the first round And don’t even get me started on the duels. It’s literally just a gamble with those, doesn’t even matter what you’re wearing. I don’t even bother anymore. Anyways, i’d just love to have a better understanding of the criteria for these fashion shows. have a good night eveyone.

The game is so nostalgic obviously, and that makes a lot of it very fun, but nostalgia only takes you so far. The game doesn’t seem to have any strategy to it. Bots will beat you with clothing that seemingly doesn’t make any sense compared to what you are wearing. I lost a fashion show to a bot wearing only hair (the rest of the items were white one star items that did not match the theme). Once you reach a certain level, the bots become more difficult and you gain access to more theme options, which is extremely grating when you can barely get enough coins to even purchase a 3 star item or craft one. Not to mention, these bots will starting wearing even more 3 star items at one time. It’s not just difficult for F2P users, it is also difficult to P2W. When you purchase coins or diamonds to purchase other materials. You don’t even get that many materials for the amount you’re spending when you take into consideration how many materials you actually need to make an item. At that point you’re spending as much on the item as you would actual clothes in real life. If there were some mechanics to see what the theme the items were and actually make them line up instead of giving the bots some type of boost that allows them to win with barely any clothes that fit the theme and are just fancy 3 star items.

I was a loyal and extremely dedicated Fantage user (from 2011 until the end) and was very sad to witness its decrease in popularity and charm over the years. I was extremely upset to hear the news that it would be shutting down. That game was my childhood, and no other game could compare. I’m really hoping that this game is able to reach a wider audience and become as popular as Fantage. This game has a lot of potential, and I love the aspect of building your clothing and working for what you own. That’s something that Fantage lost towards the end of its run, as the game sought after users to spend more money on gold and memberships, which left nonmembers with little to nothing, resulting in an unenjoyable experience. I really wish that the developers would invest in more public outreach. Since Fantage’s closing, I’ve been searching for alternatives and rewrites, and this game is the best i’ve seen, but was not easy to find. I only found this game after seeing 1 video about it when searching “Fantage” on tiktok. This game has my full support, and i’m hoping to see more updates in the future (and hoping to see it become a multiplayer game).
