Near Perfection

My Experience with this Bank has been a delight. The interface on this Application is smooth, stunning and near flawless.

It adopts a seem-less modern theme where everything is organized and just a few taps away.

I must say, “all transactions & deposits take effect swiftly. It’s actually impressive how fast everything is - It makes banking simple and easy. Like it should. Period.

As fantastic of a service it is. It’s not keeping up with many of the new features big banking is currently offering.

I’ve been with them for a while now and I’ve been waiting for the Skyline Card and more features for some time now. It’s a great bank don’t get me wrong - I just hope they hear me through this and help this community grow and combat big banking altogether.

I’d like to see features such as..

• “Tap & Pay” Wireless Debit Card Feature

• More Customization
+ Dark Theme

• The Previous Level Bank App Icon
+ Level recently updated the Color of the App. Which flipped the colors for the app’s logo to - violet on a white background. I felt like the color looked better before. It’s easier to find when the App stands out among the others. Personally visually appealing & iconic. Tons of compliments to the original design.

• Plaid Account Software
+ Needs to extend bank options. I couldn’t find my previous bank through Plaid. It has too many limitations. It’s easy to connect to Big/Popular Banks but, not your smaller local banks.

Great New Bank

Lots of banks offer a high interest rate, early deposit availability or cash back on debit card transactions. However Level is the first I’ve seen that offers ALL of these.

Been slowly moving my funds over to make them my main bank account. App is great and easy to read. No issues whatsoever with my account after a month. Highly recommend if you want to make the most of your cash.

Edit: Just dropped their rate to .50%. A drop is understandable given Fed rate cut. However, that rate is too low. Most online banks kept their rate in the 1.50% range. Will have to consider moving my funds to get a more competitive rate elsewhere.

since signing up I transferred $1,000 and almsot screwed over myself more by ALMOST making level my direct deposit bank. Everything was looking great up until half way through my initial deposit completing; I got an email that something in my UNUSED and NEW bank account was frozen. Leaving me completely out of $1,000 which has now been sitting casually in Level Banks organization. It’s COVID-19, money is tight, hours are SEVERELY CUT; rent and bills are due; and I’m told to wait 5 days for a response after they email me that they need a 30-day bank statement from where I transferred money from. It’s been over a week now and I still have no access to my money; no response from Level Zendesk Support. Just when I thought I found an online bank worth trying - I am given a HUGE reason to continue to bank with a bigger bank for MORE than obvious reasons. TLDR; if you’re looking for a savings account that you DEFINITELY can not withdraw from until someone from their “helpful” support team gets back to you (5 days or so later) - Level is the bank for you. Otherwise, stick with a trusted name in banking.

Generally speaking, any time an account is frozen, it is likely due to an underlying reason (e.g., fraud protection, etc), and we carefully evaluate multiple factors before an account is frozen. When an account is in this state, it can take up to 5 business days to resolve, however, a resolution is typically reached much sooner than that. In order for us to assist you with resolving an account-specific issue, and for the security of your personal information, we ask that you please give us a call.
