I’ve had a great experience with Liberty home guard. From the start, their customer service has been responsive, helpful, and genuinely committed to resolving issues quickly. Filing a claim was straightforward, and the contractor they sent was professional and efficient. I especially appreciate the peace of mind that comes from knowing that unexpected home repairs are covered.

This company has great reviews and a working app but as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has recorded, their scheduling for services is unreliable. For my first and only attempt at using their service, I tried for almost two weeks to schedule a dryer vent repair but each time Liberty Home Guard (LHG) scheduled the claim, the subcontractor that the claim was assigned to, either rescheduled the appointment with no communication or they simply didn't show up during the appointment window. This happened with two different subcontractors and it continued even after I called LHG and complained about the repeated reschedules. I think LHG has a serious problem with their subcontractors which affects the entire claim process. I'm cancelling the three year warranty that I purchased. The app doesn’t work. I have to delete it every time I use it and reinstall. The home warranty service is a joke. Don’t bother attempting to use the app or online support to follow up on a claim. I had a claim from March (it is currently May 19) that no one will call me about (and I’ve already paid the deductible for). It’s for our fridge so it almost seems like the plan is to delay things long enough so you’ll just take care of it yourself. I wouldn’t recommend the app or service.
