The Library Access Safari App Extension provides quick and simple access to your library’s licensed resources whenever, wherever you’re doing research.
When you come across a resource your library subscribes to, or an eBook or article you can gain access to, the extension will notify you and bring you to access with one click.
After installing the app, activate the extension in Safari by accessing Safari Preferences. Once installed, click the Lean Library logo in your Safari Toolbar, choose your library, and start benefitting from more streamlined research. We’ll show you an on-boarding tutorial after you selected your institution, to ensure you have full detail on how things work.
This version includes performance improvements and bug fixes.

Why couldn't I update? App Store told me I could.
Extremely Poor Privacy
Requires the following permissions:
"Can read sensitive information from webpages, including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards on all webpages."
This is severe. I refuse to give this app access to all my passwords.

Thank you for your feedback.
The mentioned permissions are required for us to be able to scrape the academic pages you visit for ISBNs and DOIs, without which we would be unable to provide you with alternatives (both for articles and eBooks) through your library. Please be assured, that your phone numbers and passwords are safe with us - especially as our extension does not read them. Should you have more questions regarding rights, permissions, data policy or anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
