The project “lifCity: Naples" wants to improve the technological offer of cities, starting from Naples, so they become totally “interactive”, offering to the users of the application the opportunity to obtain information about their interests and every kind of tourism, cultural, and commercial offers.

The streets of a visited city are full of monuments and points of interest.

This, forces the tourist who wants to visit the city, to take a map with him, prepare a careful plan before leaving his country not to lose the monuments he considers the most important ones, and search for the location of each monument he wants to see.

This compels to complicated and laborious activities that can determine the full enjoyment of sites of interest or the loss of the “hidden" ones.

With the app “lifCity: Naples" tourists won’t have to worry about performing searches before they arrive: they can just walk along the “interactive" streets and will be notified via push notification, as soon as they will be nearby a point of interest.

"Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life."
