- On Events and Prayer, the menu and the + button now sit at the bottom, just above the tabs, instead of at the top.

- On Prayer, the newest open request and the most recently answered prayer now show in full at the top, the way Events shows the next gathering.

- Your profile photo now shows on the encouragement notes you send, instead of your initials. - While you write an encouragement note, the text box stays above the keyboard, so you can see what you're typing.

Gather prayer requests is back. - Open today's event and tap Gather prayer requests to write down everyone's requests while you're together. It starts with a row for each person or family who said they were coming. - After an update, your phone now picks up every change, instead of keeping an older copy of something until someone edits it again.

Likes count once. - A message no longer shows someone's like twice. Tapping fast can't leave a second like, and unliking clears it. - Error reports now carry your account's internal ID, never your name or email, so a problem you run into can be traced and fixed.

Prayer requests get a compact list and an Archived tab. - Prayer requests are a compact list, one row each. Tap a row to open the full card. A request you haven't seen yet shows in full, and your own requests read in the accent color. - Whoever posted a request can archive it from its edit form. It moves to the new Archived tab for the whole group, with its prayers and encouragement kept, and can be restored the same way. - Events, Prayer and Messages switch views from a menu at the top of the screen. On Events and Prayer, + sits at the top right. - Past events no longer collect prayer requests. - Coming back to the app no longer says your session has expired while you are still signed in. - The last item in a list, and the Send Feedback, Join Family and Create Family buttons, no longer sit behind the tab bar.

A new tab bar, and Families gets its own row. - The tab bar is the system's own, with the Liquid Glass look on iOS 26. Unread dots are now badges on the tabs. - Lists scroll under the tab bar, and the switches, the + button and the message box sit just above it. - The message box floats over the conversation: messages scroll behind it, it rides up with the keyboard, and it grows as you type. - Families has its own row in More, under Your Group. The Group screen is now just the members list.

Choose your maps app, and the app opens to your group even when you're signed out. - The first time you tap an event's location, choose Apple Maps or Google Maps. Directions open there from then on; switch any time in More > Preferences > Directions. - Signed out with your group already on the phone, the app opens to it instead of the sign-in screen. A bar at the top signs you back in, and syncing picks up where it left off. - Opening the app no longer waits on the network, so a slow connection can't leave it stuck loading. - If your sign-in ends while you're using the app, you stay where you are instead of seeing an endless spinner. - A shaky connection no longer shows "Your session has expired". - The notification prompt waits until you're signed in.

More languages, and a notification when someone likes your message. - Life Group now speaks Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Vietnamese, Haitian Creole and Brazilian Portuguese, alongside English and Spanish. It follows your phone's language, or choose one in More > Preferences > Language. - Dates read the way your language writes them. - Get a notification when someone likes your message. - Notification settings are grouped into Reminders, Events, Prayer, Messages and Announcements, each with a line saying what it covers. - French is no longer offered. A phone set to French shows English.

Like, edit and delete messages. - Like a message: double-tap it, or press and hold for a thumbs-up. Likes show as a count under the message; tap the count to like or unlike, or press and hold it to see who liked it. - Press and hold your own message to edit or delete it. Deleting asks first, and edited messages show "Edited" under them. - Messages show the sender's name above the bubble instead of the time. - Tap the tab you're already on to scroll back to the top. On Messages it jumps to the newest message.

Switch between views faster, swipe between tabs, and heart the encouragement you receive. - Events, Prayer, Messages and Group switch views with a segmented control at the bottom, and the create button sits beside it as a round +, so the controls take one row instead of two. On Events, Prayer and Group they float over the list. - Swipe left and right to move between Future and Past, Open and Answered, Members and Families, and your message channels. The highlighted tab follows your finger, and each channel keeps its own unsent message. - Heart any encouragement on your own prayer request. The person who wrote it sees your heart and gets a notification. - Tap "Create 1 week later" under your next event to add the following gathering straight away. The minus and plus set how many weeks out it lands. - A message channel with unread messages shows a dot after its name. - Past events you or your family hosted stand out in the accent color. - Families have rounded square avatars. People stay circles. - Profile is now Account, under You in More. Leave Group, Delete Account and Log Out are together there, each explaining what happens before you tap it. - Answered prayers list the most recently answered first, and pull to refresh brings in everything the screen shows, including new celebrations.

Plan the next gathering in a tap, and celebrate answered prayer. - The Future tab now ends in a dashed row reading "Schedule 2 weeks later", with a minus and a plus on either side of the number. Tapping it opens Create Event already set to that many weeks after the last gathering, at the same time of day. - Event rows have a host button of their own, so offering your house no longer means opening the row first. - Add someone to a family: tap the dashed plus beside its members and pick anyone in the group who isn't in one yet. Any member can now edit or delete any family, not only their own. - Marking a prayer request answered sets off confetti across the screen, and the rest of the group gets it the first time they open the Answered tab. Celebrating one does too, and answered prayer now records when it was answered and by whom. - Preferences has a Theme setting with System, Light and Dark, and System follows your phone, switching live when it does. - Preferences, Security, Support, About, Profile and Church all scroll, so nothing is stranded off the bottom of a short screen. - An event's guest count now includes a family's other adults and children. An edit made while the app was syncing is no longer lost, and anything saved on this phone that never reached the cloud is sent up on its own.

Your group's data is now encrypted on your phone. - Prayer requests, messages and member details are stored so they cannot be read off the device while it is locked. Existing data is converted the first time you open the app after updating. - More > Security says what happens to what you share: it is encrypted on your phone, encrypted on the way to and from our servers, and encrypted where it is stored, and only your group can retrieve it. It also links to our privacy policy. - Support now offers a way to leave a review. - The message composer stays above the keyboard when you belong to more than one channel. - The offline notice now appears on the sign-in screen. Signing in is the thing most likely to fail without a connection, and it was the one screen that never said so.

A fix for forms. - Form fields stay put when the keyboard is open. Scrolling a form could push every field off the top of the screen and leave them out of reach.

Prayer, and the people your group is made of. Prayer - A request can be for someone else — a family, or a member who isn't in one. The card is headed by whose request it is, with who added it underneath. - Whoever a request is for can look after it: edit it, mark it answered in their own words, and hear when something happens on it. - The "Group request" checkbox is gone. Requests posted with it can now be marked answered. - Open an event and tap "Gather prayer requests": a row for each family who came, gathered together under that meeting on the Prayer screen. - Whatever settings apply to a request are shown as you write it, rather than folded away behind Options. Your group - The group screen makes room for the people in it. Invites and Subgroups sit at the top, each showing its count, and the member list fills the rest of the screen. - Invitations have a screen of their own: everyone you have invited, and the form to invite someone else. Events - An event stays under Future until the end of its day, so the meeting you're sitting in is still the one at the top of the screen. - A past event no longer shows the allergies button, which is there for whoever is cooking. Fixes - A screen that can't reach the server keeps showing what's already on the phone, instead of replacing it with an error. - Spacing is even across every form in the app. - In Spanish and French, a longer button label no longer leaves Cancel sitting high beside it.

Language & Time - The app speaks Spanish and French, and follows your phone. More > Preferences can pin it to English, Español or Français. - Times can be shown on a 24-hour clock, set beside Language. Events - The Events screen leads with the next gathering on a card of its own, and every other event collapses to a single line you tap to open. - An upcoming line names who is hosting, or where it is. A past line says what the gathering was and whether there was a babysitter. Invitations and subgroups - Anyone in the group can invite someone, not only a leader, and the whole group sees what is outstanding and can cancel it. - Anyone can create and edit subgroups and put people in one. Making someone a leader and removing someone from the group stay with the leaders. Announcements - More > Announcements carries word from Oasis Software about the app: changes, outages, maintenance. A dot sits on the More tab until you have read them. - The Settings tab is now More, and its list is grouped: You, Your Group, App and Oasis Software. New since your last visit - Events, Prayer and Impact mark what arrived while you were away, and Messages draws a "New" line above the first message you have not seen. Fixes - A phone that has not synced in three weeks catches up in full, so anything deleted while it was away disappears from it too. - Long names and emails no longer run under the controls beside them on the Group screen.
