Light Shades - spacial screens 12+

Use these Light Shades and color filters for your physical work spaces.
These are portable, resizeable, and dragable. Customize each Light Shade with your favorite color and desired transparency. They are convenient if you are light sensitive, need a focus barrier, or just enjoy having a different color tint around your space. Either way, create a calm, or fun atmosphere where you use your device.

Use cases:
+ Use it as light filters, and paste it anywhere in your space to reduce glare and brightness from any source in your physical space. Place them over windows and light sources. You may prefer to choose the circular shade to cover small areas such as lamps and overhead light bulbs and chandeliers.

+ Reduce transparency with the slider, and use it as a solid color divider or separator, to keep your work area free of distraction from people sitting near you, or to simply hide some clutter, and focus better when you work.
+ Works in the shared space along with your other apps.


How to operate:
+ We wanted the Light Shades to operate just like regular blinds, so we added a transparency slider right into each shade, so you can design and update each shade independently without affecting the other shades. For convenience, we added a color picker right into the shade as well, to allow you to easily choose your desired colors.

+ To remove the transparency slider and color picker, simply tap on a shade. Each tap toggles the visibility of these components. Stretch, resize, drag, and reposition each type of shades as you wish! Create as many as you want, and leave them in space. As with any window on this device, simply tap the “x” at the bottom of each Light Shade to remove a shade from your surroundings.

Motivation:
It is estimated that more than one in ten adults worldwide suffer from migraines. This includes approximately 39 million Americans, according to the American Migraine Foundation. Studies suggest that green light exposure reduces photophobia, while exerting a calm, soothing, and therapeutic effect on migraineurs. If you are among this group of people, you may like the green Light Shades. However, always check with your doctor to determine if environmental color filters on devices like this are safe for you to use.

You will find that we have selected green as the default color of each type of Light Shade, with a small amount of transparency added. We’ve made it easy for you to change the color and transparency of each Light Shade to suit your preferences.
