Adobe Lightroom is an essential tool for any discerning photographer. Its sleek interface and robust tools transform potato-quality images into stunning works of art with a few taps. And the best part? It’s nondestructive, giving you the freedom to experiment with all the controls without damaging the original photo.
I've been locked into Lightroom for years. After working on my skills for so long, I'm reluctant to learn a new program. The upside is the course I take also teaches Lightroom. The downside is Adobe is nickel & diming beast! There are 2 versions of Lightroom & they don't merge their best perks. I cannot figure out how to put my watermarks on both versions. I also cannot get the water mark back, if I edit post stamped watermark.
I genuinely prefer Lightroom Mobile over the desktop version. Most of my clients view their photos on their phones, so editing directly on a mobile device helps me match how they’ll actually see their images. The color variation between mobile and desktop can be significant, and Lightroom Mobile makes it easy to ensure everything looks perfect where it matters most. It’s fast, intuitive, and the editing capabilities are incredible for being on-the-go. Highly recommend for any photographer!
Theres so much with this app I’m a brand new photographer most of the time this app has taught me a lot even if it’s on phone it has good features ofc the desktop is probably better but this is definitely best app for editing quick and efficient tbh I never sound like this much of a npc but one think I do wish was if there was a better denoise or if they could add Ai denoise one day. But overall 10/10 I bought the year subscription too glad I bought it tbh
I had been reluctant to get into the Adobe Creative Cloud and had relied on various other tools and iCloud. But the volume of photos I was dealing with was maxing out my personal storage. But after adopting LightRoom I was able to not only do a better job of editing photos in bulk but to do most of my photo management up front from an iPad running the Lightroom app and could do most basic tasks from my phone. The desktop app and cloud experience are great as well.
The removing tool used to work fine . On whatever update, now it’s almost useless . You mark the area to be removed , and as soon as you’re done marking it marks a triple area of what you marked and removes things you don’t want removed ! Also I am trying to remove a person behind a person on the beach …the pop up about our guidelines shows and doesn’t let you remove that person. Apple “clean up “ works way way better than adobes removal tool .
Hi, Sorry you're having trouble. We would love to help with your issue but more information is needed. Please send your Adobe ID along with a detailed description of the problem and a screen recording to lrreview@adobe.com. We will investigate it. Here are instructions for making a screen recording - https://apple.co/3azEld8 I would also be helpful if you could provide a diagnostic log. Steps to generate iOS Log File--1. Open Lr Mobile settings2. Go to Help & Support3. Long-press (2-3 sec) “Access our Support Forum”-entry and a diagnostic log will be generated and attached to your local mail client. /rs
Careful I don’t have any problems with the mobile version, but in terms of being able to like really get down to the nitty-gritty and the super fine details the mobile version is a little bit more clunky and chunky if that makes sense like we’re trying to remove powerlines out of backgrounds or small things sometimes it leaves a big Blob or a blemish on the photo so editing is limited. That’s why I gave it four out of five, but I still love the app.
Hello there! Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoy Lightroom Mobile. You’re right—some advanced editing features on desktop aren’t fully mirrored on mobile yet. For issues like removing powerlines or background blemishes, our team would love to investigate further. Please share a screen recording and sample files with our community here: https://adobe.ly/lrmecosystemcommunity so we can help improve these tools. ^RC
