This app has a lot of editing options like HSL, curves, grain, dust...etc But one thing it has while most others don't is, glow and halation effects. These two are really important for film photos. Also, every edit is separately layered, meaning you can go back to that adjustment, see which ones were applied and deleted any one easily.
Has the option to pay for life time. Free version is really good enough. I would highly recommend you give this app a try.

As a professional photographer I’ve tried almost every “film” rendition app and this is the closest one. There are two problems that keeps it from being perfect.

First the file sync and batching process/UI is unintuitive if you want to process multiple photos at once. Even after using the app for many months this is by far the most painful part. More time can be spent on making this process more streamlined and less confusing.

Second the film grain effect looks like big blotches and too big rather than smooth and textured. I think it has something to do with their grain textures being low res images overlaid on sharp iPhone images. Hopefully they can improve this in the next update with either higher resolution files for the new higher resolution iPhone photos or have them be generated and give users the option to select grain size like every other app.

The app is just new but I love how it is very easy to use, the layout isn’t complicated to manage. I do wish to see the “save filter” option, I am someone who likes using the same filter throughout my photos for when I upload them to social media BUT overall it is a good app and it looks like it will have the same success as the Dazz Cam. * I would like to mentioned that “Trending” might be spelled wrong in the homepage for finding pre-made filters.

Thank you for your feedback! We will fix the problem you mentioned as soon as possible. To save the filter you can click the Adjust Layer icon in the bottom right corner after editing the photo and then click "Save Recipe" to save the current filter and use it again next time.
