The app was good -read-basic, but efficient and effective. Then we had an update a few months ago and it has been chaos since. A charge will show up and an hour later will be no where on your account. Then it’s back the next day. I called the local branch and she even said it was like that, but to call back if it kept happening. Currently, I have 3 different balances shown on one account. Love you all for a bank, but this app stinks
Worst bank/online banking possible.
This bank in general is just beyond horrible. For start, the customer service is just terrible. Then every 30 minutes the amount of money you have changes to random numbers. For example, lets say you actually have $1,000 in your checking account. 30 minutes and it will save you have $6. Then another 30 minutes will go by and it will say you have $20. It continues to do this throughout each and every day. Then when you actually go to spend your money, most places are considered “fraud” to them such as Mexican restaurants, thrift stores, and just about anywhere really. So then you have to call customer service and explain to them that spending $20 to eat at a mexican restaurant is not a scam. At that point not only are you more than likely feeling embarrassed about your card getting declined but you are heated because of the situation that can be easily taken care of. But clearly the higher up people in this company could give two sh*** less. It is sad that a bank can not even do the simplest task in this entire world considering they hire specific people to handle these things. I could not imagine working for this company. Whoever works in the department to deal with customer service as well as dealing with the app, I would highly suggest you to switch companies and go somewhere that treats you right and more than likely pays you better. Beyond sad really.
I was forced to change to Limestone when Republic Bank sold out. We were told nothing would change. For the most part that was a true statement. Except, I didn’t get a card in the mail for all of my accounts. I got to go wait in line with many a disgruntled customer for an hour to get one. The next issue is now all of my accounts are listed 1,2 and 3 on the app. Seriously? You can’t use the last 4 of my account number like republic, BOA, Wells Fargo and every other bank I have does? It’s a guessing game trying to find the account I want to see. Also, why isn’t there a widget? EVERY other app I have has a widget. It sure makes it a lot easier to check my balance a few times a day if I want to see when a large withdrawal or deposit goes through. It’s almost 2020. Embrace the technology.
