Don't expect to use LINE like you would any other messaging app. Your data is subject to being wiped out at any time. Even though all your data might exist in your device backup, when you restore it, you're likely to have the app tell you that you've signed in on a different device and that it is deleting all your data for no reason. What's more, it will probably also overwrite your iCloud backup afterward with only the most recent two weeks' messages that it restored from their servers. It's literally insane how poorly implemented their handling of your data is. Do your Japanese friends a favor and convince them to switch to something else, whether it's iMessage or WhatsApp or whatever.

This was my first app after AIM, I like it for its simplicity but I HATE that I can’t be signed on to more than one machine at a time. I have two computers, one for work/school and one for pleasure and sometimes I bounce between the two in my house and I have to constantly sign in and out because I can’t be signed onto both at the same time and it’s annoying. But I like that you’ve now added the feature of not needing a phone number to sign up.

can't turn off ringtone just for desktop without also disabling calls for both desktop & mobile. these should have separate controls: 1. allowing per-device incoming calls. 2. per-device ringtones & ringtone volume controls.

Messages constantly fail to sync up. would wait forever and the newer messages sent on mobiles never sync...

crashes for inexplicable reasons; randomly fails to connect to the internet even though everything else on the system runs fine, and it can't log back in when that happens due to unable to connect....

all the files your friend shared with you are not accessable after 10 days or so?? What a joke!
at least give me a option to save it to my iPhone automatically if your clould can' handle

I love Line, this is the best and most elegant messaging app I've ever used. It's the only thing I use to communicate with all my closest loved ones, between the rock solid encryption and the sticker selection.

Why is there a laco of reviews? This app actually works great for me and the integration on Mac is quite well.

i cant even sign in with an email

There is a limited feature in chaning font types and colors.

Cannot use MacOS spell check/ autocorrect in line app for MacOS. Please Fix!
