This highly-requested update introduces Workspaces and video support for Linearity Move, empowering you with enhanced storytelling capabilities. We will roll out Workspaces gradually, so it might take some time to show up for you in the application

WORKSPACES

- Workspaces introduce a new and convenient way to share your files and collaborate with friends, clients, fellow team members, and others.
- Each Linearity user has their own Workspace. As a Workspace owner, you have the ability to create, delete, and rename Projects.
- Easily invite other people to collaborate by adding them to a Project. Once added, they will be able to view and edit all files within that project. Only the Workspace owner can delete files.
- Projects can contain both, Linearity Curve, and Linearity Move files.
- All your existing files live within your own private project and will only be accessible to you by default. You choose who you want to share files with.

VIDEO SUPPORT

- You can now import video files (.mp4 and .mov) to your projects, allowing you to blend 2D animation with live action and more.
- Simply import the video file into your scene, or drag and drop the file directly on your canvas.
- You can position, scale, rotate, crop, and even change the opacity, just like any other shape or image.
- You can also add videos inside groups that can be masked.
- You can also trim the start or end of videos and define the video clip you want to use.

Great but waiting for it to be super great

So far I love using Linearity Move. I combines robust features, ease of use and speed. I also love that it is a downloadable app rather than a SaaS. I don't know how it would be for a total beginner, but if you are any kind of designer and/or have some experience with motion design, this hits the sweet spot for making quick social media ads or any quick and dirty animation that looks professional. And most importantly perhaps it is fun to use.
Why only 4 stars? Well its big shortcoming is that you can't import videos. When they integrate that it will be unstoppable.

It’s crashing

I was really exited to try this app. Especially since I have Curve and that works fine! And when I open the app, It’s fine! I open a file to start animating, and I add a clip. But after like 7 seconds it just crashes! I’m giving this 4 stars because I’m sure that this app is good, but I need you to figure out what is going on.

I've been using Curve (Vectornator) for more than 2 years and decided to check out Move that has been recently released by the same company! And now I’m obsessed with this application. It is so addicting that I stayed up all that way to 4:00 am animating my projects. Move definitely will become my go-to app! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
