Amend review

I’ve dropped this down to 4 stars from 5. When it works, it’s awesome. Sure, finding the “shared cam” in a menu and not where others are is odd but whatever. What I’ll ding it for here is that there are WiFi networks (eg my work one) that seem to block some of the connections. A work-around is to set the phone into a hotspot mode and to have the laptop join that but this is a hack (and only works for me as I’m hard wired in on Ethernet).

A better fix would be to allow a USB cable link as a backup. I’ve used one bit of software for this that does it. Nicely secure, no lag to worry about and no networking to worry about.

Barely works

I’ve attempted to do everything to get this app to work with my iPhone 12 but was only able to get the Remote Desktop pairing to work. It won’t allow me to pair the device, I’ve gone step by step with their directions and nothing works. I’ve been able to transfer files from my iPhone to the laptop but if I go from the laptop to phone it crashes the app. I’ve checked that I had the latest driver so I know it’s not that. My phone and laptop are paired to each other . The PC app recognizes my device but when I click on my device it goes directly to a “Pairing error” alert and tells me to check if I’m on wifi and if my Bluetooth is turned on. When it tells me to “tap “start connecting your PC via Bluetooth “ button...” it only brings up some additional instructions to follow on the PC app.

I was able to get the screen sharing to work once but overall I haven’t been successful with this app. It’s a promising app that I would love to use but can’t unfortunately.

Major improvement

I’m glad the developers are listening to feedback. I now received all notifications and initiate calls from my ASUS ExpertBook B9450. However, I cannot hear nor be heard on those calls from my PC. Screen mirroring lacks the ability to use my laptop’s mouse or trackpad. This is a move in the right direction. I would like to participate in any beta test flight on iOS to help improve the product. Thank you for your effort.
