I listen to a lot of podcasts. I’ve tried the more popular podcast apps... but this one is the I like the most. One of the popular pod players just stopped downloading some of the more obscure podcasts that I listen to. ?? This podcast player has a clean layout and is very intuitive to use. The developers are promising more features to come. I’m looking forward to see what’s next... as long as they don’t make it complicated!
Update causing issues
I have been using this app for a little over a month now. I’ve been happy up until this most recent update, hence the 3 (actually 3.5) stars. I have found that I can only listen to my podcasts if I turn off the WiFi. This is eating up my data. A fix of this would likely bring my review up to a 5 as prior to this I have really liked using this app over the apple podcast app. The sound clarity is better.
One other issue I have noticed since the update is that once an episode is done, it does not jump to the next episode automatically, it instead goes back to the first episode.

Thank you for your feedback. We tried several times to replicate this issue and were not able to. It could be, for whatever reason, your wifi was slow at the moment. Regarding the "next episode" are you using the playlists (swiping up on the player)? If the issue is still persisting, please email us with more details, we'd love to look into it further for you! email@example.com
After using the Apple podcast app for a few years I decided to try something new. After listening to reviews i tried a couple of the most talked about podcast apps, but for me they were too complicated. Then someone mentioned the Listen app and I'm so glad they did. Very nice looking interface and not overly complicated. I knocked off one star because I'm having a little trouble understanding how the que works. I couldn't find any specific videos or instructions so I'll keep working on it. Otherwise I love this app!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We worked on creating a queue experience that works "behind-the-scenes" not to clutter the user interface. Apologies for not including instructions right away. Here is a blog post that was published on the release of the feature: https://listenapp.co/how-to-use-playlists-in-the-listen-app/
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
