Little Big Robots. Mech Battle 12+

I‘ve played many Battle Arena style games and I’ll admit that I am not a fan of Pixonic or their incessant need for profit. But this game is a well balanced Masterclass. F2P Players can compete well with this game. Want to buy something? That’s where it gets expensive.

In comparison to other BA Titles, Little Big Robots features a lineup of characters out of the “Mothergame” War Robots. If you’re a WR Player, you will definitely play this game. This game requires skill and teamwork. It’s a F2P game where patience is needed…it does take long for you to get new weapons and robots. But, the free rewards are many and it’s pretty easy to obtain what items you want by just playing the game.

This game is fun, or at least it used to be. I played a few weeks before the update. I got to the point I had accumulated most all the weapons and bots, and had grown them to high levels and could, more often than not, expect to do well in a match because of strategy, skill and the upgraded bots. You could play (without paying money) but watch adds to get bots, or weapons and if you bided your time you could advance your little war machines by just saving up your gems that you earned. 500 gems used to upgrade your robot to the next tier to a relatively high level and you could accumulate that amount in a few weeks through winnings and weekly bonuses. The most recent update completely made this a “pay to upgrade” game. With robot upgrades now costing 7500 gems instead of the previous 500. This has effectively made robot upgrades out of reach of anyone not willing to drop more than $50 each time. A lot considering you will want to upgrade all 5 of your robots, weapons, and specials. Basically the managers of this game decided they wanted to change the profitability of this game and hope, people pay a lot to upgrade their robots instead of do the (now essentially impossible) grind to get it done for free while still giving them advertisement revenue.

I won’t delete the game, yet, in hopes they revert it back to the way it was, but as it currently stands, what I used to appreciate about this game is lost.

This game has so much potential, it could be a lot of fun. However, they are always pitting me against superior robots and so I have no chance unless I hide behind other teammates. I have to say the two out of three games are always guaranteed a loss. They keep throwing ads in my face to spend money, which is very annoying. In order to upgrade, robots or weapons by earning the money is completely out of reach once you reach a certain tier. I am constantly fighting guys who obviously paid for the robots and upgrades because they’re robots health is twice of what mine is and their weapons kill me and just one or two shots. It’s completely unfair and not fun at all when you are constantly having to battle with people who are paying to win. if it was something where I could spend a dollar or three dollars here and there that would be fine, but they really want you to drop $100 to make any decent progress. It seems that they weren’t making enough money with the little spenders and now they have geared this entire game towards big spenders. Rich kids I guess who don’t mind spending $250 on a game just so they can have a superior advantage. I am abandoning this game, it has lost all of its fun. also, sometimes the game crashes and completely takes over my iPad where I have to reboot the iPad. The developers are a little too proud of their little game.
