The Little Free Library app makes it easy to find little library locations near you! Use the search filters to narrow in on little libraries you want to visit, easily get directions to the nearest ones, or create a route. See a library you like? Add it to your list of favorites. Track the libraries you visit using the handy check-ins feature. If you’re a Little Free Library steward, there’s a section of the app just for you that lets you edit your library’s listing in real time!

Little Free Library Map:
Easy-to-use search filters help you find Little Free Libraries by zip code, city/state, charter number, or your current location.

Favorite and Track the Little Libraries You Visit:
Keep a list of your favorite little libraries and track the ones you visit using check-ins.

Get Directions or Create Routes:
Tap the Get Directions button to get step-by-step directions to the nearest Little Free Library book-sharing box, or add multiple little libraries to a route.

Sign the Guest Book:
After you stop by a particular little library, leave a note for the steward (aka caretaker) in its guest book! The guest book is a fun way to connect with the little library steward and see what other visitors have to say.

Not showing check ins

So I have deleted the app reinstalled it. Logged out of the app and logged back in.

I get many people coming to my library, the notifications appears at the top of my screen for a check in. Then I go to my app and nothing.

It would be nice to see if people are saying good or negative things about my library. Also would be nice if the app properly worked!

Exciting but also disappointing

I was so excited to find that little free library has an app! I’ve been saying for a while I wish I could find something like this!! But I have some complaints, I do not have a LittleFreeLibrary (yet my hubby is in the process of building me one for my birthday) but there are little free libraries that are not listed on this app, and it won’t let me add them because I’m not the caretaker for them! I feel like it shouldn’t matter who’s taking care of the library I should be able to upload the fact that there are missing ones people could be using, but might not know about. I live in the middle of the country so I was excited to find this app so that way when I go into town I could find different places to exchange books. But half of the Little Free Librarys I use are not on this app! Now there are quite a few that I didn’t know about that I have found on this app, but they need to do something different. Maybe they could create a separate tab where you could add different libraries that were missing without claiming ownership of them? But I feel like people are missing out because the owners of the libraries don’t know about this app!!

I had no idea Little Free Libraries had an app??Everything about this is so easy to use, my fav feature is the bar at the bottom you can swipe up that shows you a list of every LFL closest to you.
Tapping on the address linked to the library automatically copies it as well which is EVERYTHINGG and you can also add libraries onto a route and categorize them with indicators in the search bar which is just GENIUSS. thank you sm for this, it’s genuinely my favorite app now !! i WILL be checking it 24/7 and seeing all of the LFL I can find everywhere I go.
